Phoenix Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager who has experience in the following: generating leads, writing pricing proposals, & landing new business in the 3PL space.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Generate new warehousing, fulfillment and distribution business using existing & potential customer networks
  • Manage existing national accounts & cultivate growth
  • Negotiate complex warehouse agreements
  • Prepare & submit RFP responses to 3PL users
  • Support operations team in improving performance
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including the assigned sales associate, support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts. Determine pricing strategies to meet client demands

Phoenix Logistics is looking for an experienced independent sales rep that has extensive knowledge and contacts in the logistics space. 5+ years preferred. Retainer and commission to be negotiated.


  • Ability to vet viable customers in need of 3PL services, write opening proposals based on customer’s needs and cost structures provided.
  • Assist with RFP submissions.

Warehouse Locations:

The warehouse space available to sell is tied to the national footprint open industrial space owned by Phoenix Investors LLC. Currently, Phoenix Investors’ affiliate companies hold interests in approximately 27 million s.f. in 24 states.

This position is responsible for in depth analysis and data gathering on potential target geographic markets & customers, competitors, and service offerings. This involves acquiring knowledge of the third party logistics industry, developing key industry contacts, and keeping abreast of current industry trends. This position will work closely with various groups within the company including sales, marketing and operations.


  • Research and analyze market conditions in local, regional and national geographic areas to determine the feasibility of offering services and investing in particular areas.
  • Work with our sales group, potential customers and operations group to define potential service offerings and determine their feasibility.
  • Develop recommendations on specific customers to pursue from a strategic sales perspective with the recommendations being based upon broad industry research and intelligence gathering on potential customers and existing competitors.

  • Degree in business, logistics or related field.

Phoenix Logistics is seeking a highly motivated warehouse and distribution center manager to help grow our presence in the Coffeyville Kansas area.  The manager will oversee a 200,000 square foot food grade distribution center with five employees and a second off-site 150,000 square overflow warehouse with two employees.


  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order processing, packing and returns.
  • Lead, direct, and develop personnel.

We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory control coordinator. In this position, you will manage inventory through the use of a computerized Warehouse Management System. Your primary objective will be to maintain accurate counts of all customer inventory.


  • Oversee inventory according to company guidelines
  • Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amounts of items are in stock
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts

We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible Warehouse Management System (“WMS”) Administrator. This position will join our information technology team and be given IT projects to oversee, and bring to successful completion. Projects will involve working with operation managers from multiple warehouse and distribution facilities. In addition, the position will have frequent interactions with senior management, customers and vendors.


  • Interface with RAMP WMS users to resolve IT issues.
  • Work with software provider on system improvements and upgrades.
  • Research and analyze system to system variances between WMS and the customer’s system counts.
  • Assist warehouse management team to determine proper storage methods and warehouse storage location layout, based on item activity data, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of the facility.
  • Working with operations managers to establish cycle count programs.

We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible accounting assistant.  In this position, you will interact on a daily basis with our customer service staff to assist in properly invoicing our customers, handle basic accounting duties and assist with month-end activities.  We are rapidly expanding and seek an accounting assistant to contribute to our growing team.


  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers
  • Assisting customers and business partners via telephone and email
  • Month-end general ledger entries and account reconciliation
  • Enter tenant receipts into accounting system and assist with collections;
  • Review and ensure payables have accurate GL codes and proper approvals;
  • Maintain accounting databases by entering data into the accounting system
  • Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close including accruals, depreciation, amortization, capitalization and true-up entries.
