Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities:

We are hiring a National Sales Coordinator specializing in third-party logistics (3PL) with an emphasis on contract warehousing, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment. The position will be responsible for establishing relationships with new customers, building a rapport with existing clients, and growing revenue. This position is full-time exempt, with a significant component of compensation to be incentive-based.
National Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales goals.
- Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business.
- Understand customer requirements, procedures, and goals to collaborate with Operations.
- Develop and maintain long-term consultative customer relationships to understand where to offer solutions.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to help resolve issues by interfacing between the customer and our operations, generate organic growth and sell our services in other markets.

National Sales Coordinator Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Experience selling 3PL services using a variety of pricing models.

Phoenix Logistics is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. The Project Manager will be requested to lead start-up operations, often in a facility with no prior Phoenix Logistics presence. In addition, the Project Manager may be called on to work with an existing Phoenix Logistics site management team to improve performance, add a new account to a location, or add a new service offering to an existing customer. The Project Manager may also be asked to assist with acquisition transitions, including warehouse process and safety reviews, technology assessments, and staffing and personnel evaluations.
Project Manager Requirements:
- A proven leader with at least 6 years of rising management responsibilities in the warehouse, distribution, and transportation field.
- Must possess the ability to make good decisions and solve unique problems while establishing and managing all day-to-day functions of a new warehouse or distribution center.
- Instill a culture of uncompromising safety awareness where corporate safety procedures are embraced and implemented.
- The Project Manager is often leading a new customer start-up; this person must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a new customer, as well as newly established suppliers.
- Must have the ability to utilize leading-edge warehouse technology.
- The Project Manager will be required to spend extended periods of time away from their home base (this position is 80% travel).
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Assist with warehouse layouts and site security, designing exterior traffic patterns and interior pallet flow, and providing material handling equipment recommendations.
- Create daily and weekly reports to the Manager.
- Audit daily labor and billing reports.
- Ensure all associates follow policies and work rules, including safety work rules.
While the local Site Manager position is vacant, the Project Manager will:
- Schedule the staff based on the customer.
- Interview, hire, and onboard new employees.
- Manage, lead, train, and develop new employees.
- Hold daily shift change and weekly safety meetings with the site crew.

We are seeking an organized, diligent, responsible, and self-driven Safety Manager for our 900,000-square-foot facility. In this position, you will interact daily with employees operating in various roles that include the use of material handling equipment to perform their various duties. While the primary responsibilities of this position are listed below, we all wear many hats that do not always relate directly to our position. We are rapidly expanding and seek a Safety Manager to contribute to our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain various safety and health programs including, but not limited to Injury & Illness Prevention Programs, Ergonomic Programs, Emergency Response Planning, Hazard Communications, Foodborne Illness, and Material Handling Equipment training including the Train the Trainer Forklift training.
- Develop training curriculum and training materials customized appropriately to fit the industry, facility, and customer’s operational needs.
- Create and maintain safety metrics that accurately depict the environment that our employees are operating in. This includes developing actions based on the findings and trends in the data that is captured to create a work culture built on the foundation of safety.
- Maintain current knowledge of safety regulations, industry trends, and transpiring safety issues in the warehousing and logistics industry.
