RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload product from trucks.
- Pick orders.

- Identify and report damage.
- Keep an accurate warehouse inventory through proper use of our network, RF scanners, and WMS system.
- Assist in keeping a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
- This is a 1st shift position M – F that does often require overtime and an additional day to help support customer need.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior lift truck experience. Any prior experience operating heavy machinery including (but not limited to) construction or farm equipment is a bonus.
- Proficient in reading and basic math.
- Customer-service oriented.
- Experience with RF Guns or tablets for receiving, put-away and picking to assist with the proper tracking of goods inventory throughout the facility.
- Ability to prioritize and balance completion of several tasks while being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, a willingness and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Clean safety record.
- Provide creative process improvement suggestions.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales goals
- Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business
- Understand customer requirements, procedures, and goals to collaborate with operations
- Develop and maintain long-term consultative customer relationships to understand where and how to offer solutions
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to help resolve issues by interfacing between the customer and our operations, generate organic growth and sell our services in other markets
- Prepare external broker and internal carrier pool towards future growth
- Be our logistics and trucking expert.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Build trust with customers by ensuring that all of their needs are being met as committed
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to create presentations and speak in front of groups
- Be driven by results, yet patient to work through the sales process

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience performing sales in a trucking or freight brokerage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead business growth; obtain new clients through a variety of sources and sales leads utilizing new connections and the latest technology
- Achieve transportation-related operational objectives implementing capacity, productivity, quality, identifying trends, and customer-service standards; accurate forecasting; and initiating corrective actions
- Assist in developing long-range goals and objectives, always in pursuit of continuous improvement
- Develop and manage transportation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accept responsibility for external customer relationship management and internal (employee) customer relationship management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sales, supply chain, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience overseeing transportation operations, preferably multi-site oversight with an emphasis on sales execution

We are hiring a National Sales Manager specializing in third-party logistics (3PL) with an emphasis on contract warehousing, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment. We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory control coordinator. In this position, you will manage inventory through the use of a computerized Warehouse Management System. Your primary objective will be to maintain accurate counts of all customer inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory according to company guidelines
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase, and return; track defective items to inform quality control decisions
- Nurture positive relationships with clients and provide customer service as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience resolving inventory variances using investigative processes
- Comfortable playing a key role in Physical Inventory planning and orchestration of counts
- Experience extracting data from WMS into Excel for data analysis

Sam Dunn Express located in Longview, TX is in need of a Class A, CDL, solo driver willing to run on dedicated short haul, drop and hook runs within 150 air-miles of Longview, TX. Sam Dunn Express is a well-established local business with most customers in the Longview and Kilgore area. This position is ideal for someone who might be retired, but still wants to keep their CDL license active. The position will be as fill-in for full-time drivers who are off due to illness or vacation. Driver will be on-call on an as-needed basis, for maybe just one or two days a month, or for a full week, with advanced notice, no overnights. Loads may consist of dry food grade or non-food grade products in 48’ to 53’ dry vans, no-touch freight. Typical days start at 7:00 am for early shift and end at 6:00 pm for late shift, Monday through Friday. No guaranteed minimum hours; you set the maximum hours available.
Responsibilities:
- Available for short notice fill-in
- Ability to drop and hook 48’ to 53’ dry van trailers
- Experience with dry food grade products a plus
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 22 years or older
- Minimum of 2 years CDL experience
- Good work history and a clean MVR
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
- No more than one DOT-recorded preventable accident in the last three years
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
