We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asset Tracking Manager to join our team at a large industrial real estate owning company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tracking, assessment, and disposition of our extensive portfolio of assets and building components.

This role requires frequent travel to various sites across the United States to determine the status and optimal use of our assets. Work Environment

  • Reports to the Senior Vice President.
  • Our primary office is located in downtown Milwaukee, WI.
  • This position involves regular travel (up to 50%) to various industrial real estate sites across the US. Candidates must be comfortable working in different environments, including warehouses, depots, and construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to industrial real estate sites throughout the portfolio to assess and inventory assets and building components.
  • Determine which assets and building components should be kept, disposed of, or sold based on their condition, value, and strategic importance.
  • Oversee the operations of three parts depots located in the US, ensuring efficient management of assets kept for company use or resale.
  • Develop and implement asset tracking systems and procedures to maintain accurate records of all assets.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure that necessary assets are available for ongoing and future projects.
  • Work with finance and procurement teams to manage the financial aspects of asset disposition and acquisition.
  • Prepare reports on asset status, inventory levels, and disposition outcomes for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in asset management, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and/or construction.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess the value and condition of various assets.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the United States as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial real estate and large-scale asset management.
  • Certifications in Facilities Management or related disciplines.

We are hiring a National Sales Coordinator specializing in third-party logistics (3PL) with an emphasis on contract warehousing, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment. The position will be responsible for establishing relationships with new customers, building a rapport with existing clients, and growing revenue. This position is full-time exempt, with a significant component of compensation to be incentive-based.

National Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales goals.
  • Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business.
  • Understand customer requirements, procedures, and goals to collaborate with Operations.
  • Develop and maintain long-term consultative customer relationships to understand where to offer solutions.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to help resolve issues by interfacing between the customer and our operations, generate organic growth and sell our services in other markets.
  • Be a logistics and trucking expert.

National Sales Coordinator Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience selling 3PL services using a variety of pricing models.
  • Build trust with customers by ensuring that all of their needs are being met as committed.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to create presentations and speak in front of groups.
  • Be driven by results, yet patient to work through the sales process.
  • Demonstrate an ability to have a high degree of attention to detail.

National Sales Coordinator Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience performing sales in the logistics, warehousing, or trucking industry.
  • Past operational experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
  • Working understanding of WMS functionality.
  • Transportation experience is also helpful.

Phoenix Logistics is seeking a highly motivated warehouse and distribution center manager to help grow our presence in the Milwaukee, WI area. The manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 individuals operating in roughly 160,000 square feet of food-grade space handling full truckload, LTL, and parcel inbounds and outbounds. This will be a multi-shift operation working Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday dependent on volume and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations for one primary customer (with the possibility of adding additional customers at a later time), including shipping, receiving, order processing, packing and returns.
  • Lead, direct, and develop personnel creating a team that focuses on overall inventory and order accuracy through the use of our WMS system.
  • Implant a culture of safety first.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to assist with meeting customer established OTIF, inventory, and cost goals.
  • Analyze and report on safety, productivity, and financial performance metrics.
  • Manage customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with food grade requirements and batch/lot traceability.
  • Familiarity and utilization of WMS for driving productivity and processes with a focus on inventory and shipment accuracy.
  • Minimum 5 years-total experience in a leadership role directing warehouse and distribution operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive operational experience in the 3rd party warehouse and distribution space.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, independent strategic thinking, with a proven track record of solid decision making.
  • We are looking for an individual who possesses the ability to suggest creative viable solutions to our customers expressed needs. Excellent written and verbal skills required.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain discipline or related experience preferred.
