Phoenix Logistics is seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible Administrative Manager at our Mattoon, IL facility. The Administrative Manager will interact daily with fellow warehouse employees, customers, and on-site customer to provide superior customer service and data analysis.
Administrative Manager Responsibilities:
- Scheduling interviews, onboarding, and other administrative duties
- Data analysis and cost tracking for internal metrics and outside vendors
- Monthly accounting-related reconciliations for executive leadership
- Setting up new vendor contracts and measuring performance
- Support company-wide initiatives assisting (remote) other facilities throughout the US

We are seeking an organized, diligent, responsible, and self-driven Safety Manager for our 900,000-square-foot facility. In this position, you will interact daily with employees operating in various roles that include the use of material handling equipment to perform their various roles. While the primary responsibilities of this position are listed below, we all wear many hats that do not always relate directly to our position. We are rapidly expanding and seek a Safety Manager to contribute to our growing team.
Safety Manager Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain various safety and health programs including but not limited to Injury and Illness Prevention Programs, Ergonomic Programs, Emergency Response Planning, Hazard Communications, Food Borne Illness, and Material Handling Equipment training, which includes the Train the Trainer Forklift training.
- Develop training curriculum and training materials customized appropriately to fit the industry, facility, and customer operational needs.
- Create and maintain safety metrics that accurately depict the environment in which our employees are operating. This includes developing actions based on the findings and trends in the data that is captured to create a work culture built on the foundation of safety.
- Maintain current knowledge level of safety regulations, industry trends, and transpiring safety issues in the warehousing and logistics industry.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all associates, vendors, regulatory agencies, and clients.
- Ability to adapt work schedule (including overtime) monthly to perform necessary training and position assessments on evening/overnight shifts.
- Documented daily safety and Gemba facility walks.
- One-on-one, position-specific safety evaluations.
Safety Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a focus in the field of safety management environmental management, risk management, public health, or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment that includes the use of material handling equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to retrieve and enter information using various proprietary software applications and create/modify documents and complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Office suite.
- Customer-service-oriented with an interest in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Ability to prioritize and balance the completion of several tasks while being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills will be required to interface with internal and external stakeholders (employees, site managers, property managers, vendors, customers, etc.).

Phoenix National Transportation is seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible Transportation Supervisor. This position will be based in Pleasant Prairie and/or the Milwaukee, WI area with some remote opportunity. In addition to operational oversight, the Transportation Supervisor will have frequent interactions with senior management, customers, and vendors. The expectation is that if we have a route open, the supervisor will be willing and able to complete the route on time. Routes are single-destination shuttles, drop and hook only. There will be drivers 7 days per week during first-shift, early AM hours. This position will include a heavy emphasis on ensuring the load is delivered on time and in full daily.
Transportation Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Achieves transportation-related operational objectives implementing capacity, productivity, quality, identifying trends, and customer-service standards; accurate forecasting and initiating corrective actions
- Ensures routes are delivered on time daily at greater than a 99% expectation
- Assists in developing long-range goals and objectives, continuous improvement
- Develops and manages transportation Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Accepts responsibility for external customer relationship management and internal (employee) customer relationship management
Transportation Supervisor Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in overseeing transportation operations, preferably multi-site oversight with an emphasis on sales execution
- CDL required and up to date
- Firm grasp of transportation management systems
- Hands-on transportation experience, including familiarity with DOT regulations

Phoenix National Transportation seeks Class A CDL, solo drivers willing to run dedicated shuttles from Pleasant Prairie, WI to Maywood, IL in short-haul, drop-and-hook runs. This position will be on a rotating four-on, four-off schedule, paid on a fixed-day rate. Expectation is 8-10 hours per day, completing 1-3 round trips depending on workload available. Days start at 3:00 AM for early shift.
Full-Time, Class A CDL, Short-Haul Drivers for No-Touch Freight Responsibilities:
- Ability to drop and hook 48’ to 53’ dry van trailers
- Experience with food-grade products a plus
Full-Time, Class A CDL, Short-Haul Drivers for No-Touch Freight Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years’ CDL experience within the last 5 years
- Good work history and a clean MVR

Phoenix Logistics is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. The Project Manager will be requested to lead start-up operations, often in a facility with no prior Phoenix Logistics presence. In addition, the Project Manager may be called on to work with an existing Phoenix Logistics site management team to improve performance, add a new account to a location, or add a new service offering to an existing customer. The Project Manager may also be asked to assist with acquisition transitions, including warehouse process and safety reviews, technology assessments, and staffing and personnel evaluations.
Project Manager Requirements:
- A proven leader with at least 6 years of rising management responsibilities in the warehouse, distribution, and transportation field.
- Must possess the ability to make good decisions and solve unique problems while establishing and managing all day-to-day functions of a new warehouse or distribution center.
- Instill a culture of uncompromising safety awareness where corporate safety procedures are embraced and implemented.
- The Project Manager is often leading a new customer start-up; this person must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a new customer, as well as newly established suppliers.
- Must have the ability to utilize leading-edge warehouse technology.
- The Project Manager will be required to spend extended periods of time away from their home base (this position is 80% travel).
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Assist with warehouse layouts and site security, designing exterior traffic patterns and interior pallet flow, and providing material handling equipment recommendations.
- Create daily and weekly reports to the Manager.
- Audit daily labor and billing reports.
- Ensure all associates follow policies and work rules, including safety work rules.
While the local Site Manager position is vacant, the Project Manager will:
- Schedule the staff based on the customer.
- Interview, hire, and onboard new employees.
- Manage, lead, train, and develop new employees.
- Hold daily shift change and weekly safety meetings with the site crew.
- Document and resolve any customer service issues.

We are hiring a National Sales Coordinator specializing in third-party logistics (3PL) with an emphasis on contract warehousing, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment. The position will be responsible for establishing relationships with new customers, building a rapport with existing clients, and growing revenue. This position is full-time exempt, with a significant component of compensation to be incentive-based.
National Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales goals.
- Generate revenue through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business.
- Understand customer requirements, procedures, and goals to collaborate with Operations.
- Develop and maintain long-term consultative customer relationships to understand where to offer solutions.

National Sales Coordinator Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Experience selling 3PL services using a variety of pricing models.

National Sales Coordinator Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience performing sales in the logistics, warehousing, or trucking industry.
- Past operational experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Working understanding of WMS functionality.
- Transportation experience is also helpful.
We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible accounting assistant. In this position, you will interact daily with our customer service staff to assist in properly invoicing our customers, handle basic accounting duties, and assist with month-end activities. While the primary responsibilities of this position are listed below, we all wear many hats that are not always directly related to our positions. We are rapidly expanding and seek an Accounting Assistant to contribute to our growing team.
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
- Assist customers and business partners via telephone and email.
- Handle month-end general ledger entries and account reconciliation.
- Enter tenant receipts into accounting system and assist with collections.
- Review and ensure payables have accurate GL codes and proper approvals.
- Maintain accounting databases by entering data into the accounting system.
- Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close including accruals, depreciation, amortization, capitalization, and true-up entries.
- Analyze variances, review ledger details, and record adjusted entries on assigned accounts.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, fixed asset reconciliations, etc.

Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
- A minimum of a two-year accounting degree is desirable (or in the process of completing a degree).
