Responsibilities
- Negotiate pricing, service terms, and contract conditions with prospective and existing clients to ensure mutual value.
- Complete and submit detailed RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotations) for prospective clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to structure deals that are both attractive to clients and profitable for the company.
- Tailor contract language to meet client-specific requirements while safeguarding the company’s interests and compliance standards.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets, including retail, e-commerce, and manufacturing sectors.
- Present customized warehousing and logistics solutions to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their supply chain challenges.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic planning and service innovation.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain services.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex deals and manage long sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations, pricing models, and contract structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess the profitability and operational feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
